The trick shooting dial has.
1. IT= Itervalometer. 0.5 sec between each frame, 2 secs between each frame, 15 and 60secs, this is for timelapse shots. You must set it to which one you want before filming.
2. AN = Animation timer, you have a choice of a 4 frame or 1 frame burst, in other words it will take 4 frames in a row or one frame.
N. is for normal shooting.
3.ST= self timer, you have a 5 sec delay or 10 sec delay before the camera starts to run, must be on a tripod, you can get in the picture yourself.!!!
4. PT =This is a programed timer if I remember correctly, the camera will shoot a 4 second (not frame ) sequence. Or you can have a 15 second run.

Sorry forgot L/D which is the lap dissolve lever, this you push up while filming, this initiates a lap dissolve, in other words the camera will fade the picture out to black, then the camera will rewind this faded portion of film, ready for your next scene, this is a lovely feature on a camera, one scene slowly appears over another, a great transition.or you can just fade out, by pushing the lever down, do not make dissolves on the first and last 5 ft of film (beggining or end of a cartridge )the Movie light socket is to screw in a movie light, when you do this it changes the internal filter for artificial light, if you dont use a movie light in this socket, you must turn the filter switch on the cartridge door side to the bulb symbol.
